St. Louis Dispensary Chain Faces Lawsuit Over Unpaid Cannabis Product Invoices
LOS ANGELES- Curio Manufacturing, a cannabis supplier, has filed a lawsuit against Heya Missouri Holdings, alleging nonpayment for cannabis products valued at $61,126. The lawsuit claims that Curio shipped these products to Heya’s three dispensary locations in the St. Louis area, but has not received payment.
The legal action underscores the financial challenges within Missouri’s cannabis industry, particularly concerning payment disputes between suppliers and dispensaries. As the state’s cannabis market continues to evolve, such disputes highlight the importance of clear contractual agreements and timely payments to maintain healthy business relationships.
Heya Missouri Holdings has not publicly responded to the allegations. The outcome of this lawsuit may have implications for business practices and financial operations within the state’s cannabis sector.
