Canopy USA Appoints M. Brooks Jorgensen as President

LOS ANGELES- Canopy USA, a subsidiary of Canopy Growth Corporation, has announced the appointment of M. Brooks Jorgensen as its new President. Jorgensen brings over two decades of experience in the wine and spirits industry, including a tenure as Vice President and General Manager at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.

Prior to joining Canopy USA, Jorgensen served as President at Kiva Confections, a California-based cannabis edibles company, where he was appointed in August 2021. Canopy USA has been actively expanding its presence in the U.S. cannabis market. In October 2024, the company completed its acquisition of Wana, a North American edibles brand.

This followed the June 2024 acquisition of a majority stake in Jetty, a California-based producer of cannabis extracts. The appointment of Jorgensen is expected to strengthen Canopy USA’s leadership team as it continues to integrate its recent acquisitions and expand its operations in the U.S. cannabis market.
