CSP C-Store Cannabis Board Teams with Element Training on Hemp and Cannabis Certified Education

CHICAGO – The CSP C-Store Cannabis Board has formalized a partnership with Element Training to deliver structured Hemp and Cannabis Education to convenience store operators and their staff. The program covers product knowledge, age verification, and compliance requirements at the federal, state, and county level, with content automatically calibrated to each store’s location.

Built into seven lessons that take roughly 25 minutes to complete on a mobile device, the curriculum spans ID verification, product knowledge, THC, THCA, CBD, and applicable state and federal regulations. Employees who complete the program receive a verifiable certificate with a unique ID and QR code that retailers, regulators, insurers, and auditors can use to confirm completion. A compliance library is included as well, tracking county, state, and federal requirements and flagging updates when rules change.

The training found industry support almost immediately. Three Minneapolis-based Cannabis brands volunteered to help finance the program’s launch, with several retailers also stepping in during the development phase.

Retailers can enroll a single location or hundreds. Stores can be added manually, through a spreadsheet upload, or via a website URL that auto-imports addresses. Businesses may pay for all locations at once or let individual stores pay separately, and every enrolled location receives unlimited employee access. Discounts apply to new enrollments and multi-location operators, with annual fees supporting ongoing program maintenance through Alchemy Digital Collective. With a federal hemp-THC ban deadline of November 12, 2026, still unresolved, operators who can produce documented, verifiable staff training records carry real weight in state-level regulatory debates. The CCCB is building the paper trail the channel needs, and doing it before lawmakers force the issue.
