Don't let your rights go up in smoke.

WASHINGTON, D.C.–(NORML) The battle for cannabis freedom is ongoing. Despite growing public support for legalization, there remains a vocal yet powerful minority intent on maintaining the failed policy of cannabis criminalization. But every time they push, Norml push back harder.

In recent weeks, we’ve defeated legislation challenging adult-use and medical cannabis access in ColoradoMontana, and South Dakota — and Norml actively fighting efforts in Ohio to roll back the state’s voter-initiated legalization law. In states like CaliforniaMarylandMichigan, and New Jersey, we’re also pushing back against efforts to raise taxes on cannabis consumers. In states like New York and Connecticut, we’re fighting back against attempts to ban consumers’ and patients’ access to so-called higher-THC products.

In these states and others, we’re fighting to ensure that consumers no longer face discrimination or the threat of criminalization. We’ve worked too hard and too long for the gains we’ve achieved. We are not backing down now.

These past few months have illustrated that our political opponents haven’t gone away, they’ve regrouped. Nonetheless, with your help, we can continue to turn back their efforts. Freedom is not free, but by supporting NORML, you can ensure that cannabis consumers continue to have a voice and a powerful ally in statehouses across this country.

Together, we fight. Together, we win.
