Innovia Consulting Acquires 365 Cannabis
ONALASKA – Innovia Consulting, a longtime provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central services, has acquired 365 Cannabis along with its sister entity 365Vertical. The deal brings in two Microsoft partners that focus on customized enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for regulated industries, including Cannabis.
The acquisition expands Innovia’s reach into sectors that demand strict compliance with tracking, inventory, and reporting rules. 365 Cannabis specializes in Microsoft-based ERP tools designed specifically for Cannabis operators, helping them manage cultivation, processing, distribution, and sales while meeting state and federal traceability requirements. 365Vertical covers similar ground in agriculture, manufacturing, and other regulated fields.
Alan Wyne, CEO of Innovia Consulting, described the move as a way to strengthen the company’s delivery of targeted industry solutions. The combined entity plans to keep investing in product development for these vertical markets and in supporting existing customers.
The transaction comes as Cannabis businesses continue to seek reliable software that integrates with broader financial and operational systems. Microsoft Dynamics 365 has gained traction in the sector because of its scalability and ability to handle complex regulatory demands without requiring entirely custom builds. By folding in 365 Cannabis, Innovia adds ready-made, domain-specific modules that can reduce implementation time and costs for clients in a market where operational efficiency often separates profitable ventures from those that struggle.
This step fits a broader pattern in business software, where providers consolidate to offer deeper expertise in high-regulation areas. For Cannabis companies, access to proven ERP platforms can support growth as markets mature and competition increases. Whether this acquisition leads to wider adoption remains to be seen, but it gives Innovia a stronger foothold in a niche that requires both technical precision and regulatory awareness.
