Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings Reduces Stake in COMPASS Pathways by 11.8% in Q2

LOS ANGELES- Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings Inc. has reduced its stake in COMPASS Pathways plc (NASDAQ: CMPS) by 11.8% during the second quarter, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company sold 38,745 shares, bringing its total holdings to 288,459 shares valued at $1.74 million as of the most recent filing.

Several other hedge funds and institutional investors have adjusted their positions in COMPASS Pathways. Blue Trust Inc. entered the market with a new stake in the company during the second quarter, valued at approximately $81,000. Virtu Financial LLC also acquired a new position in COMPASS Pathways during the first quarter, valued at $201,000. Tidal Investments LLC increased its stake by 43.6% in the first quarter, now holding 19,082 shares valued at $159,000 after purchasing an additional 5,795 shares.

Other institutional moves include Kennedy Capital Management LLC’s acquisition of a new stake in the first quarter worth $139,000 and SVB Wealth LLC’s investment in COMPASS Pathways in the same period, valued at approximately $443,000.
