Seed Junky Partners with Trulieve to Bring Premium Genetics to Pennsylvania
LOS ANGELES – Seed Junky Genetics announced the expansion, confirming a new exclusive licensing agreement that covers Pennsylvania. The companies had already collaborated in Florida for several years. Under the updated terms, Trulieve Cannabis Corp. will reintroduce Seed Junky as a standalone brand in Florida, while offering authentic Seed Junky Genetics products to Pennsylvania patients through its cultivation, processing, packaging and statewide distribution network.
Seed Junky will continue supplying proprietary genetics, intellectual property, cultivation methodologies, operational support and quality-assurance standards. Trulieve will manage cultivation, production, packaging and distribution in both states while adhering to the brand’s established practices. JBeezy, founder of Seed Junky Genetics, noted that strong partnerships develop over time through consistent delivery. Trulieve’s multi-state cultivation experience and operational scale were cited as factors in deepening the relationship.
Trulieve’s Pennsylvania social channels indicated the Seed Junky lineup has begun reaching dispensaries in the state. The genetics house is known for cultivars like Wedding Cake and Kush Mints and has pursued similar licensing arrangements in other markets. Further product details and availability will be managed through Trulieve’s existing retail and distribution channels in Pennsylvania and Florida.
Overall, the expansion reflects a calculated step in Seed Junky’s regional licensing approach, pairing proprietary genetics with an operator that already controls cultivation and retail infrastructure in both markets. The Florida track record supplies a reference point for quality and execution. Pennsylvania now becomes the proving ground for whether the same consistency can be replicated under different regulatory and operational conditions.
