AUSTIN – Dazed Inc., formerly MedX Holdings, Inc., released a corporate update covering retail expansion, Q2 2026 financial results, a planned stock buyback, and product distribution.

The company announced a signed franchise agreement for a new Lazydaze Coffeeshop in Dallas. According to Dazed, the brand now has 13 locations in its overall footprint, including 7 currently operating locations, 11 signed franchise agreements, and 2 corporate-owned stores.

The expansion comes as the regulatory environment for hemp-derived products in Texas continues to evolve. Dazed management also said it is monitoring the federal Cannabis rescheduling process and expects a determination regarding the proposed move to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act.

The company also announced its Q2 2026 financial results, reporting year-over-year revenue growth that it attributed to additional stores and distribution activity. Dazed said it is pursuing deleveraging initiatives and that management currently has no plans for dilution or a reverse stock split. The company also said it intends to pursue a stock buyback in Q4 2026, although terms have not yet been finalized. CEO Hans Enriquez emphasized shareholder value in the announcement, continuing a theme the company has highlighted since its official rebrand in late July.

Dazed Distribution, the company’s wholesale arm, plans to expand its product lineup during Q3 and Q4 2026 with THC-infused wine and THC-infused non-alcoholic beer. These would join existing Lazydaze-branded products, including THC-infused whole bean coffee and a ten-mushroom functional blend, with distribution planned through franchise locations and third-party retail accounts.

The August update outlines Dazed Inc.’s plans across retail, distribution and other areas of its business. The Dallas expansion adds another market to its franchise strategy, while the planned Q4 stock buyback and expanded distribution lineup represent additional elements of the company’s current strategy. How these initiatives translate into future financial and operating results remains to be seen.
