Snoop Dogg Launches First Licensed Cannabis Dispensary and Product Line

LOS ANGELES- Snoop Dogg has launched his first licensed cannabis dispensary, S.W.E.D., and an exclusive product line under the Death Row Cannabis brand. The shop, located near LAX airport in Los Angeles, opened on July 14.

In early 2022, Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records (DRR), known for its influential role in hip-hop. Following this acquisition, he announced the launch of Death Row Cannabis (DRC) in 2023. The recent dispensary opening marks the beginning of DRC’s first exclusive product release.

The new product line pays tribute to the late rapper 2Pac, one of DRR’s pioneering artists. Snoop Dogg mentioned that his first blunt was given to him by 2Pac, highlighting their deep friendship.

The product line will be available in select California dispensaries by July 19, with plans to expand to Michigan later this year.

Before establishing DRC, Snoop Dogg founded Leafs By Snoop in 2015, which is produced by the multistate operator Canopy Growth Corporation.
